The role of the Paradigm Investment Committee is to maintain the prudent and effective management of the Managed Account Service. The Investment Committee comprises both internal and external members all of which have extensive investment management and business expertise.

Ken has been involved in financial markets since the early 1970s. After gaining significant experience in the management of investment portfolios, he moved to providing investment advice to superannuation funds.
Ken is the Managing Director of Atchison Consultants, which was established in 2001. In the years prior to establishing Atchison Consultants in 2001, he was a senior asset consultant with the global firm Towers Perrin (now part of the Russell Group).
Ken's consultancy experience covers a broad range of areas within investment portfolio and business management. This includes advice on the setting up of investment management businesses, the choice of in-house or outsourced investment management arrangements, the setting of investment policy and structures for investment strategy, capital market analysis and investment manager research and selection.
Martin Ryan B.Com. Director, Mutual Limited
Martin has been involved in the investment industry for over 40 years, working in both the Stockbroking and Funds Management Industries. In 1991, he founded Austock Brokers, which is now a listed company on the ASX known as Austock Group Limited. Martin re-joined the Board in 2011.
In 2009, Martin purchased Austock Asset Management Limited, and changed its name to Mutual Limited. Mutual currently has $2.1 billion in FUM&A primarily in fixed interest, short term investments and as a Manager of Managers.

Paul McGlinn has extensive experience in financial markets, and over his career has been employed by a number of highly regarded institutions. Commencing as an accountant, he soon moved into an investment role with the ANZ Bank analysing industrial companies, followed by a position at Scottish
Amicable (Colonial), working in both domestic and global portfolio management, with roles in the Japanese equity market and head of portfolio management for the Australian Industrial market.
After 17 years, Paul moved to JB Were & Son, where Paul’s major role became portfolio management to JB Were’s high net worth individuals and NFP clients, advising on global asset allocation and portfolio construction. He held a similar role at UBS with a focus on the NFP sector and an emphasis on reducing capital risk, relative to the market. Paul’s final full time role was head of portfolio management for ANZ Trustees, across their high net worth client base. He currently consults to a number of Investment Committees

James has worked in the financial services industry for nearly 20 years. James co-founded Paradigm Wealth Management in 2003 and continues to play an active part in the operation of the firm, both as a Director and a Private Client Advisor. James also drives the Paradigm Investment Committee process, with this committee comprised of highly respected investment professionals responsible for the Paradigm Managed Account Service investment process. James holds a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University. He has also completed post graduate studies in applied finance and investments (FINSIA) and the Financial Planning Association's Certified Financial Planner professional programme.

Brett became a member of the Paradigm Team in June 2014 when Paradigm and Portfolio Managers Pty. Ltd. joined forces.
Brett was appointed CEO – Director of Portfolio Managers in 1999. He has over 30 years experience in financial planning, taxation, superannuation and estate planning, in addition to being an accredited SMSF specialist. Brett has been admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in Victoria, and is a member of the Financial Planning Association.
Prior to joining Portfolio Managers he was Manager of the Financial Planning and Taxation branches at State Trustees with the added responsibility for estate planning matters. Previously Brett was a Senior Tax Manager with Chartered Accounting firms Ernst & Young (Melbourne), Deloitte Ross Tohmatsu (Melbourne), and Coopers & Lybrand (Melbourne and London).
